Patna, Bihar – November 1, 2025 A meeting-cum-get-together was organized by IEA Bihar at Shantilal’s Restaurant, Phulwari Sharif, Patna, to hold discussions and a brainstorming session on key issues related to the development of Bihar, with a special focus on the youth living in rural areas.
Key points discussed included:
- Gaps in educational and institutional training, and the need to make youth industry-ready
- Health and healthcare-related services
- Agriculture and its modernization
- Entrepreneurship opportunities
- Migration and brain drain – highlighting how many young people leave the state in search of opportunities elsewhere, reflecting the lack of adequate local livelihood options
The meeting brought together members of IEA Bihar from different parts of the state and beyond, many of whom are doing outstanding work in their respective fields across the world.
